Prickly Poppy grow 2-3 feet tall, are easy to grow, require little water and produce seed for even more plants. Your seeds will come with a page of instructions and information. It is the Argemone Pleiacantha or Southwestern Prickly Poppy, native to Arizona and New Mexico. But it grows in the foothills of our town here in Utah. I grow it in my garden in full sun in Saratoga Springs, elevation of 4505 feet. In it's natural habitat, it receives 15 inches of rain annually, and blooms in the Spring. Here in the garden, it's watered twice a week and blooms from Spring to Fall, big white flowers with silvery gray-green foilage. I love it! Fresh seeds harvested September 2021. Organically grown.
