Chick Star- 7 inch stained glass star with ceramic chick- listing for one (1) star

We used to have chickens. We'd ordered them from a full color catalog after deliberating on all the varieties available-- bedheads, Rhode Island Reds, Auracaunas, etc etc. Then we'd wait for the local post office to call us to come pick up our peeps! We'd all hop in the car and drive down to the post office whether it was day or night and get our chicks. They came in a cardboard box with little round air vents. We would rush home, open the box, carefully lift each baby chick and dip their little beak in water--the first time they'd taken a drink. Once we showed them the water, they took to it like ducks--even stepping into the pie tin full of water.
These star chicks are ALMOST as cute as the real thing. Measuring just 7 inches across, with the points made with our favorite yellow stained glass--it looks like lemon-yellow waxed paper. This is a listing for one (1) star.

We gift wrap our stars in our signature hand-stamped paper, sealed with matching washi tape and tied with color coordinated baker's twine. It's all topped off with a tiny embossed envelope enclosing our cards.
