Glass US Flag Banner Bunting- unique triangular lacquered paper under glass, 9 inches by 5.5 inches

When I was a kid back in the 50's and 60's, my dad raced boats. Every 4th of July, he was in charge of the Freedom Festival's Boat Regatta in our home town. And he would get out these cool, triangular, wool American flags and attach them onto the rear light posts of the boat's trailer. It looked really cool flapping in the wind behind his boat (which was also red, white and blue). I even got to ride in the boat in the parade one year.
We took one of those flags and made copies, which we then lacquered under glass and solder a silver edge with silver loops at the top corners. Each flag measures approximately 9 inches by 5.5 inches. The detail is amazing. You can see the stitching on the flag. This listing is for one (1) flag. A great gift for a veteran, or someone serving in the military. A wonderful addition to your Independence day decor.

Our flags come gift wrapped in our signature, hand stamped paper, sealed with color coordinated Washi tape, and tied up with matching baker's twine. It's topped off with our tiny embossed envelope (we can include a personal message if you prefer), containing our calling card.
