We were standing in line waiting to get into Morganstern's Ice Cream in NYC. The line was long, the Summer was hot and so I opted to step into a curious shop next door by the name of Leekan. There was a long roll of hand made paper with an indigo dye floral motif. Beautiful, exotic, and rich looking. The store purveyor told us it was from Africa, using natural indigo dye. We bought the roll of paper, and then had a pinenut ice cream cone. Once home, Rebecca took the paper and lacquered it to the back of this star to create this beauty. It will come gift wrapped in our 100% recycled paper with hand stamped designs and tied with matching twine. We can personalize the paper with the recipient's name. We can also engrave on the star with a name, a scripture, or saying.
