I LOVE poppies! Bright red Shirley poppies--the easiest poppies to grow. You don't have to plant the seeds, you just scatter them on the surface of the soil, water really well and they will do the rest. You will receive over 2000 poppy seeds. I don't use herbicides or pesticides, and I garden organically. These seeds are from my personal garden in central Utah, grown at an elevation of almost 6000 feet high, overlooking Utah lake and Timpanogos Mountain. You can plant them in Fall or Spring. I like to plant them in the Fall, and they will start growing late Fall, snow or freezing temperatures don't hurt them. Or scatter them in the Spring, either way you will have loads of bright red poppies in May and June and a bit into July. Included with each order is a helpful instructions so you will have success in growing your poppies, cutting them for flower arrangements, and harvesting your own seeds for the future. Freshly harvested in July 2022.
